"There is no greater agony than
bearing an untold story inside you."

On the evening of Wednesday, September 12th, the Book Launch Party for Speaking Your Truth Volume III will take place in Denver. What an amazing journey this has been for me as well as all the women who have taken part in this book! People are coming from all over the country to join us for the evening's celebration of this final anthology in the three-part series.
Forty-two women offered submissions of inspiration, courage, hope, strength, truth, wisdom and so much more! There are 43 stories contained in this anthology that fall within the topics of Healing, Self-Discovery, Loss, Defining Moments and Relationships. Some of these women are sharing secrets for the very first time that they've carried with them for many years, most since childhood. How freeing and scary at the same time! Breaking free of family dysfunction is difficult and challenging, often filled with push-back from family members. But the ability to rise and soar above those family shackles can be incredible and glorious.
I am so excited for all the women in this book. Having edited their stories, I got to know each of them just a little.
Through our conversations and the emails we exchanged as we finalized their pieces, I heard a little bit more about who they are and what they experienced. There was apprehension and fear for a few in bringing their stories to life. For others, there was uncertainty about whether their stories could touch another. Some wondered if they were "writers." As for most of us when we step out of our comfort zone, we often wonder if we're doing the right thing. These women have definitely done the right thing by telling their stories.
And yes, these stories are well worth reading too! They may give you permission to look at your own woundedness. They may offer you the necessary hope to see that your pain can be transformed. They may help you see that you are not alone. They may even inspire you to share your own story--to even write it!
If you don't yet have a copy, you can pick it up through Amazon. Click here to purchase a copy for yourself--maybe even for a friend or family member as well.
If you're in the Denver area, be sure to join us next Wednesday night for our awesome celebration. Bring your copy of the book because there will be plenty of authors present who will be thrilled to sign it. For more details on our book launch celebration click here.
Let's all keep speaking our truths. Not only will we be healed, but we invite others to heal as well.
